What jobs have the highest salary? |
and what subjects are "hot" right now for college students. i am interested in the business major but i am wondering if there are any other jobs that can even make more money There's the 3 biggies when it comes to making big bucks: doctors, lawyers, and engineers. The first two require a quite a bit of graduate work. Engineers, however, really only need a 4 year degree and their certification to be a Professional Engineer (analogous to the bar exam for lawyers). Depending on the specialization, engineers have starting salaries between 30 and 40 thousand dollars a year. However, as it says on the top of one of my sources, money should NEVER be the only factor for choosing a career.
