OK why do people say illegal Mexicans are taking there jobs?

why do people say illegal Mexicans are taking there jobs? I want 2 know who will pick oranges in the hot sun..i never see white people picking oranges..im not raciset..my niehbors are all white..we invite eachother 2 partys ect..i do believe in some of them leaving,why some of them are drug dealers,drunks,child molesters,ect..my cuzins are illegal,they have familys. they dont bother nobody..if they had papers they buy cars,houses,ect...good 4 the economi...so what do you all think?

Here is the delema. The reason that there is so much of a stink is. The illegals are getting offered wages for like, $3 and hour, which is targeted at them to give the employer cheaper workers, just an example. This is below minimum wage, and illegal. An illegal immigrant will take this, and can't complain because they are illegal. Now if the same job was offered at minimum wage. Granted alot of people aren't going to take the job, but there would be more people inclined to take it. No one in there right mind, if they are legal, is going to take a job at $3. So how they are saying that americans won't do those jobs, is inaccurate, because these jobs aren't being offered at legal wages. The American may have little education, but you know what, they are still citizens, and should have atleast a chance at the job, at minimum wage. When they are saying that the wages are low, they don't mean minimum wage low, like Mcdonalds. They mean unsustainably low and illegal. The reason they can live on these low wages is, if there are a bunch working, they all get a small place and use the money together to live there.

I tell you what.. there are no illegal Mexicans taking any job I want to do. I agree with you I don't want to sell oranges on the corner. i don't want to sell flowers and those things that Illegal immigrants do,. I know they do some other jobs but for the most part they do a lot of manual labor jobs and I work in an office. I like working in the office. I don't want to be out in the hot sun working. I fell kinda bad that's all they do, but hey I guess if someone wants to be here that is the only job they can do.
The reason we say illegal Mexicans are taking our jobs, is because they are willing to work for less in fear of getting sent back to their country. If there's a business who is willing to hire them, they are not going to want to hire a legal American who wants more pay for the same job. And as for your illeagal cousin who has a family.... He could have just taken the test and became an American. Nobody would care if I have a family, if I break the law. And that is what he's doing. He put himself in that situation. No one forced him into our country.

I have No problem with the Mexican workers. I do think all criminals who are illegal should be deported and not allowed to return. If they return put them in prison at hard labor for a long time. I have worked in areas (FL) where the Mexicans are Good Citizens Legal or Illegal. I say give them a chance. Taxpaying workers are Welcome as far as I am concerned. God knows we have plenty of people who have been on welfare for 3 or 4 Generations.
Whites will do those jobs as will blacks and asians. The thing is that they all would demand more compensation/ benefits which means that the farmers would have more overhead and make less profit. I know many illegals are on the up and up and are just triying to do good for their family but they still cost my family. The majority do not pay taxes (income) on the money they make due to the pay is recieved under the table and they have no SSN. Like you I am not racist as my kids god parents are Mexican and Korean and my wife is Colombian. The illegals do not pay the taxes that pay for schools, they recieve medical help at emergancy rooms with no insurance to pay the bill and are not making enough to pay it for themself. I know they mean no harm but the fact is they hurt my kids and I will do what I can to prevent that.
This is a big problem here in Arizona, as the summer approaches and the temperatures get up to 120 degrees in the middle of the desert, the illegals will continue to enter and die somewhere in the desert. The people that are saying they are taking their jobs are desperate people with little to no education. It is sad when you see this happen but sometimes it is a lot easier to blame someone else, rather than yourself.
