Wanting to move to gay friendly, not too cold, cheap housing, good jobs, place in the usa, any suggestions?

me and my girlfriend want to move out of las vegas and into a greener, friendly not too cold envioronment... we are looking for a place thats gay friendly, has housing thats not too pricy and good plentiful jobs... if you know any places or have any ideas please let me know!!!!!

P.S. California is too expensive and hot, I want to move to a place that stays in the 70's and maybe 80's in the hieght of summer.... and lots of greenery!

Atlanta is cool, but only inside the city.
Austin is cool too.
Portland, Oregon meets all of your desires with two notable exceptions -- jobs aren't always plentiful, depends on your vocation and also, if it's not summer, it's rainy very frequently.
Fort Lauderdale, FL has all you're looking for - except cheap housing!
