How to redo hot wire on a 94 Accord? |
My 94 Accord was stolen and now police found it. However, it is "hot-wired" and I can not use key to start it. How do I fixed it? Is it a easy job or I'd better find a repair shop to do it? Thanks! You might be able to fix it yourself, but you'd probably be better taking it to a shop. Is the key portion damaged? usually thievces tear up the steering column switch to unlock the column. Often a used column is the cheapest and easiest fix. Source(s): http:/econofix.com anti theft probaly has to be reset too. a small local repair shop might be your best bet . I think it's better to let a qualified auto shop take care of it, you never know what they had to do to hot wire it. Could be as simple as reconnecting some wires... but they also could have just ripped everything apart under the dash |
