In a major bind, need help!?

Okay, this is my fist time ever using this feature of Yahoo but here goes. I live in Costa Mesa, CA and am in desperate need of a job. I am an admin assistant with great qualifications and my temp job ends in 2 weeks. I need to find a job like NOW and even though I have 3 agencies looking for me and I've been sending out my resume like crazy. I promise I'm not trying to use this board as Monster or Hot Jobs. I just want advice for anyone else that has been in this situation. Help!

You need friends. A network.
Find people that have jobs in your field. Talk to them.
They probably knows somebody who knows somebody that needs an admin assistant. That will be the number 1 answer.
It sucks if you don't know anybody.

Maybe try unemployment compensation and California unemployment agency?

Other than that, I guess you just have to keep plugging away.
