How do you get rid of an over zealous head hunter?

I posted my resume on hot jobs, recieved a call from a head hunter, who wanted to place me in a job in the area I am moving away from. She had only one contact in the town I am moving to, and has been obnoxious about getting me to interview for this position. how do I politly tell her to back off?

I think you just tell this person that you are not interested in the position or don't think you are a fit for that position. I guess the less tactful way is to not respond, but in this business, the headhunter might be a contact you want to retain for the future.
Just let her know that for the time being you are not interested in interviewing for that position and that you will call her back if you change your mind. Let her know that you appreciate her efforts on your behalf and will call her back if you think that you can use her services in the future. (Headhunters make their commissions when they place people so they push pretty hard to get you to take jobs) Just tell her something along the lines of "don't call me, I'll call you". But don't use those words.
