Does anyone know what the hot jobs are in the tech industry? What kind of education or certification would you need for it? The hottest career track in IT is for .Net developers, mostly for Asp.Net web applications and web services, but also for Windows desktop applications and Windows Services. Microsoft has a whole new group of certifications for developers and other IT professionals, you can learn about those here: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/ne... As far as education goes, Computer Science with a focus on Object Oriented Development. Some schools actually teach .Net languages like VB.Net and/or C#, but most do not.
