Is this company for real? |
Without giving the name of the company...it is a web-based company that allows potential actors/actresses and models to post a profile of themselves in order to be noticed by talent scouts. I just graduated with a BS in Business Administration. I recently received an e-mail from this particular company because they found my resume on Hot Jobs and told me I would be perfect for one of the positions. I applied online and during the application process I was asked all kinds of questions that only served their marketing interests. I was constantly redirected to different sites after I had been asked if I was interested in online colleges or if I wanted to start my own business. At the end I was taken to a page that said my application had been received. Then I got another e-mail saying that my apllication had indeed been received and to go back and login and answer additional questions for the application. Again, I was asked if I was interested in online colleges. sounds like alot of bullsh-t. Sounds like marketing for on-line colleges. I have had similar experince but not exactly the same. You invest in all this time on something you think is worthy and it turns out to be a marketing stunt. Very frustrating. For your sake I hope i'm wrong but that's what it sounds like. |
