Share these heartbraking moments to ease my pain. And at the same time share any hot tips on a sure win, I need it I am a Yankees fan. I had to be or I would be persecuted relentlessly by my dad, brother, and grandfather. So, now I root for them with everything I have. I remember when I was in the 7th grade back in 1990 (I think the year is right give or take) the Yankees were terrible. I cannot remember the name of the pitcher, the name Andy Hawkins keeps coming back, but I'm not sure. The only player I remember being on the team at that time was Donnie Baseball. Anyway, it was the year that had so many no-hitters. It was time for the Yankees to get theirs. And get it they did, in royal choke artist fashion. They lost the game 4-0 due to four errors late in the game. At least it wasn't the World Series. Luckily it was summer break, so I didn't get a lot of razzing from the guys at school who hated the Yanks. What's your pain? Which of your favorite teams lost?? It doesn't get any worse than the NY Yankees blowing a 3-0 games lead against their hated rival Boston Red Sox only to lose the next 4 games including the last 2 at home in October 2004. . I'm a ravens fan. when they played the colts after their bye losing by only field goals. 15-6. they had a shot the whole game until like 20 sec. |
