OMG MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO HIT ME!!! I'm so scared?

My mom found out yesterday that I got into a fight with this girl and she was at her job when she found out today so she called me in her cell and said she鈥檚 going to beat me up like she has done before! I鈥檓 so scared, my mom hits hard! It鈥檚 not my fault I got into a fight, I not that kind of 17 year old girl who鈥檚 in 12th grade. I am a normal studious girl but this other girl grabbed me and started pounding me up. She practically jumped me because she hated me and she鈥檚 in a gang but I鈥檓 not. In the end I ended up winning because I got a clean shot at her nose, I punched her really hard, my hand was bleeding, but it barely hurt and it was worth it. The bottom line is my mom never believes my honesty so she鈥檚 going to bust me up. She already left me 3 black eyes the past 4 months because of other girls stupidity of hating me only because I bring nice stuff to school with my money I earn working hard and getting lucky with pay checks (not $100,000 worth jewelry but nice fashionable clothes). What should I do, my dad is out of town, and I鈥檓 an only child but have no families whatsoever.

I recommend you just do not go home for a while. Do you need to study? Can you stay at a friend's house? If all of these are no then you need to go home and hope for the best.

You can go to the school counselor also and tell her. I am sorry but that is not discipline, that is abuse. I am a mother and when my daughter acts up she gets a little swat here and there but I have NEVER left her a mark and I never hit her to hurt her ... she gets one only when she has gone too far, and believe me she knows when she has gone that far.

I realize since she is your mother you are afraid and do not want her to get into trouble but she needs help. She is abusing her daughter and it is not right.

sounds to me like u may live in the ghetto. what do u do to make these girls beat u up? as far as your mom goes, i have a feeling u make things worse than they seem. u sound lik a spoiled brat trying to get attention. Report It

You need to report her. I know shes your mom but that is child abuse and not acceptable. She would thank you in the long run if you do it. She is obviously having some type of sick issue going on in her head if she thinks hitting you is alright. Or you could call a hotline to gather support. But either way, that is ridiculous.

I think all moms hit hard...I am still scared of mine.....but if you have a family rule about fighting...then you are just need to face the music.....

Maybe she will ground you instead....

You should call the cops or fight her back. Don't let her do that to you. She's gotta draw the line SOMEWHERE. She sounds psychotic and needs help.

omg i feel for you big time as i have been there and i hated every second have you told your dad wot ur mum is doing to you as that is one thing i would do as its not fair on you to have to take a beating coz of other girls being jealous over stuff you have cant you tellanybody that ur close to as how long r u going to put up wiv all of the beats as i did for years and in the long run it is going to affect you in 1 way or other please tell sumbody even if that means the police dont let her keep hitting you

First of all it's not your fault for the fight and second it's one thing to hit you but giving you black eyes is abuse. You should call your dad tell him what she's doing then report her. Abuse is a crime.

If I was you I would def. call the police and explain the situation!!! You were only defending yourself and that NO reason for your mother to hit you !!! There is not one person in your family that you can call and talk to?!?! Its not fair for you to be in a situation like that so you need to do whatever you need to do to get out of it even if that means going to DCYF! I hope she cools downs before she gets home I'll be thinking about you!!!

GET OUT!!! Don't be there when she comes home. That is not okay. Disciplining your child is one thing ,but beating them is another. If she really hits you and gives you black eyes, that is child abuse no matter how old you are. You did not deserve to be hit like that!!! Go to a friends house, tell their parents, go to school counselor, go to library, go somwhere, but do not be there so she can use you as a punching bag!!

I am so sorry that anyone has to go through with this! You should def. talk to someone, other than going to answers.yahoo.com! Talk to a trusted adult, a conselor! Anyone! U prob. thinking "If I ratted out my mom, I'll just get in more trouble, and get beat harder!" But it will be okay, ur mom needs help! And if u talk to someone from now, it will save u from getting beat! It's worth the shot, and I still dont get..how a 17 year old still getting her butt whop by her momma...but that's not the point, the point is ur mom needs help! Does ur dad beat u too? omg damn im young n i dont even get hit ....all im saying is that u really need to get the cops on her or get some help from some other parents ...u should really stay at a friends house and let your mom calm down ....abuse is not the answer to solving anything so your mom shouldnt be heating you.....the fight wasnt your fault you were just difending yourself .. Violence breeds violence...you have a chance right now, to go to the police station and file a complaint against your mother...you and your mother could use some counseling for violence..
