Jobs and cars? |
I am an independent person, alot of ppl say im a strange teenager becuz I dont like ppl handing money to me.. Im serious id rather work for it.. Im getting a job but my mom will have to drive me there.. How much should I pay her for gas? Im planning on buying my own car with the money I make becuz I am going to save half of my check to save up for a car.... My goal is to save atleast 2,000 to buy an old car just to get me around, Does anyone know any good sites for used cars? Thanks much appreciated! Go to Google and type in gas prices. it will give you many links to places in your area that will tell you what the gas prices are.. The ask your mom how many miles to the gallon she get. The figure out how many miles it will take to drive you to and from work.. Example. Gas is $1.00 a gallon. She get 20 miles to the gallon for gas. Your job is 40 miles away.. That is only $2.00 for gas.. You should think of the gay issue like this. How far is your work? She will have to make two trips each time. Count how many days you work and figure how many miles total. Then decide. Or give her $15 bucks each pay day. Go to kbb.com you can search there or autotrader.com. go on eBay and bid on a car when buying a used car you should try to buy one in your area, when you test drive it, set a appointment with a mechanic you trust, take the car to him, and have him check it out, its better to spend $20 to $40 to the mechanic, than to buy a car that will break down on you in the near future, you can go to www.autotrader.com to find cars in your area. gas, i would say $10 a week is good |
