How does Yahoo Answers decide community violation? Is it decided by computer or by human? |
My question : "During sex, which do you work tomards: your own satisfaction and fulfilment, or your partner's?" received a violation notice for "adult content". Yet the following questions are allowed through. (Check them through the search facility) Search Results Do u like the doggie style while havin sex? My long term boyfriend always likes to end up doggie style... any suggestions? Doggie Style? Missionary? Sideways? Girl on Top? Which is better? A hand Job, a ******** or Jobless? Wife gave ********(oral sex) to another man? Should I reconcile? Now what's so "adult content" about my question? My question was asked with the purpose of getting us to have a re-look at our own personal values. How truthful are we to ourselves? Yahoo Answers, Please Answer. I've recieved a violation notice too on perfectly innocent n legitimate questions. I actually got my points bk when Y!A looked into it for me after I emailed them. I think rt after someone sends an abuse report, the system automatically sends u the notice. Then later a person looks into it. One possibility is maybe u posted in the wrong category? Another is u simply got flagged by a fuddy duddy who reacts negatively to the word: sex. :-) Anyway, ur question was a good one. Good luck with future postings! dude, you are so inappropriate. and it is a human who uses a computer scan. stop being disgusting. If you notice all the goodies under the ANSWER THIS QUESTION button, you will notice a flag. It is people hitting this button because they don't like your question. You got reported by someone that didn't like your question. If your violation notice said that it was for "violation of Terms of Service", then it would be from someone or something(computer) at Yahoo Answers. Questions are deleted by Customer Care, but only if they are either picked up by automated filters or reported by another user. The filters are relatively new, and not perfect, and it takes about two days for Customer Care to review a report. So the questions you mentioned probably either predate the filters and were never reported, or have already been reported and will be deleted within the next day or two. However, Customer Care isn't perfect, to put it mildly. In fact, they seem to be staffed primarily by potted plants. While violations are all reviewed by a human, there is no guarantee that said human is not in a persistent vegetative state at the time of review. That said, your question is definitely a violation of the Guidelines, both for adult content, and for chatting. When you post here, keep mind that the site is intended to be appropriate for ages 13 and up, and there are even kids as young as 10 and 11 on here. I personally think a computer recieves it, then points are deducted and it goes from there. A human decides the violation of the Community Guidelines, and the computer will delete the question and answer involved in the infraction. That should be sufficient enough for you to digest. |
