Where should I be looking for a job, I graduate with a BA in Criminal Justice very soon?

I don't want to be a cop. I can't go to law school or graduate school because I need to start paying back loans right away. I live in new york. My school is not helpful. I am willing to do work in any area doing clerical work or doing any type of work. I've even looked for civil service jobs but there is nothing in Westchester County. I'm getting desperate and very nervous. Does anyone know of any websites that might help in my search?

Forgot to add I live in New York.

I do not know of any websites that can help you but I may know of a position you have not considered yet, what about becoming a Probation Officer, the pay is very decent especially coming out of college and there is much room for advancement. I believe Probation Officers positions may be a "boom job" for the future as todays society morals have taken a slight slip, Prison are slowly overcrowding and Probation may be the most cost effective manner to handle this increased problem.

Since there are criminals in every city county and town regardless of how small it is, there has to be a Probation Office governing your area and who knows maybe a position for you waiting.

Have you tried the New York Attorney General - Child Support Division and apply as a Child Support Investigator? This job requires doing the paperwork looking for "Deadbeat Dads" and seeing that the spouses get the money due to the kids. Good luck.

See if you could intern with a local judge, consider applying for a position on the District Attorney's staff, or do the country, and you, a service and join the military as a JAG officer.

You could try the District Attorney's office there in New York, and it is too bad you can't go for your master's degree as you can make a lot more money. Well, good luck.
