Am I commiting financial suicide if I quit my job to go to graduate school?

I am going to get educational loans and maybe some grants too. Going to pharmacy school so I am guaranteed a job when I graduate.

Be a working student instead.

yeap u may get a good job if u can go thru in ur university.good luck.

Pharmacy school is the way to go if you can get in. It's only suicide if you screw up and don't make it. Don't work if you can avoid it. You need to keep those grades up high!

Depends on your personal situation. Find a place to live for free, on campus if possible(loans/grants can pay for this). Eat as cheaply as possible, which means NO fast food, it's much cheaper to clip coupons, shop smart, and cook your own food(those mcdonalds double cheeseburgers you like so much? you can make them at home for about15 cents apiece if your smart about it). Make sure you have a very fuel effecient vehicle, if you need personal transportion at all( use a bike if you can, the exercise is a plus). Basicly, just cut back every non-essential thing, and do whats necessary. If you really want to be a pharmacist, you'll be able to do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
