How do American college students choose a job after graduate?

Do they have great pressure when they go to find a job? Will they decide to have further study because of job-finding pressure? And I need to know the Iaspects they will consider to choose a job.I'm a foreign student and I have to write a paper about it ,so I need some professinal idears of it .Thank you!!

In America, an undergraduate degree in MOST fields has become almost worthless and too common. There are few fields in which students can make good money just with their bachelors these days--for example, if you get an engineering degree or nursing degree, you can find a good job right out of college. Psychology, political science, sociology are examples of degrees that aren't worth much.

However, most college grads find themselves taking any work they can find, even if it doesn't have anything to do with what they studied.

This does indeed drive many people to continue their studies. This is one reason why American law schools are so crowded--people can't think of anything else to do or find their undergrad degree isn't worth much, so they go to law school. A masters degree or higher is now better to have these days.
