Graduating in May, when to start applying for jobs (relocating)? |
I will graduate May 2008 with a degree in Finance, minor in Accounting. I currently go to school in Memphis, TN, but have definite plans to move to Nashville, TN (3 hours apart) as soon as I can get a job and moved after graduation. I would think the first of the year would be good. There are challenges to looking for a job someplace your not (relocated 3 times) and you want to make sure that your not still looking when you graduate. Since you're a new grad, there's no harm in starting to apply now. You might even be able to interview during winter break. now is fine - you might get lucky and be able to arrange some interviews during school break and have a job waiting for you at graduation |
