What types of jobs can i get with a BSc degree in Electrical power Engineering Technology.?


I am currently in a four year degree plan in electrical Engineering Technology and a bit worried about getting a job after i graduate... any one help please!!

You will know about many opportunities in electrical engg. when you pass out and go thru employment advertisements in newspaper. Probably , you may get employed in campus interview itself. For the time being , you concentrate on your studies to learn the subject better. Nothing to worry about future.

With a power specialty you can work at any power utility company, compamies that design and build generators, or perhaps power supplies. How about nuclear power plants if you have been trained for that. If your training included motor design, then you can work for companies that produce electric motors. Also power distribution systems design require your kind of training. So there are a lot of opportunities for employment for you.

You can work for a company that does electrical simulation such as www.gses.com.
