HELP PLZ!! Is there any job in the medical field which you can study in college and graduate in 4 years? |
Ya. so are there any jobs you can start right out of graduating from a 4 year college in the medical field. i know optometry and pediatricians take 7 years to complete. nd chiropractors i didnt check but i think its the same. are there any jobs in the medical field that you can complete in a 4 year college A General Practioner (regular family doctor) can be obtained in 4 years, and a two year residency program. Any specialty (Pediatrics, etc.) take another 3 years. registered nurse, medical technologist, physician assistant. Yea, Nurse for the most part. And they get paid such a decent amount. $25 an hour. Sheesh. :-) Lab Tech ( aka bottle washer ) Look at being an RN. It only takes 4 years, and the pay is growing at a rate that easily outstrips that of doctors. You can also use an RN to get into some Medical Schools later down the road, (you may have to take a few supplements) but the demand is huge, the pay is growing, and the benifits are great. Go for Nuclear medecine. RN and it pays good and usually you can do this in 2 years and it is usually more than 25 an hour. My freind gets paid 45 an hour as a RN Try going for your BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing), which is a four year program. |
