How to find a job? Recent college graduate?

I just finished college (accounting) and I'm having trouble finding a job. I only have 3 months of experience (internship) and I'm not born here (I do have my citizenship). I get the impression that as soon the company sees that I'm not from here that they're afraid to hire me because they might think my English and French are not good enough. My experience is also the problem. How do I get it if no one wants to give me a chance???

I went to the unemployment center and all they did to help me is gave me a couple of websites (which I already had) and went thru my CV. In the last month I've sent over 30 CVs and got only 1 interview (which as you see didn't work). The newspapers are even worse... There's maybe 1 or 2 ads per month!!! Also, I don't have any friends who are working in the similar field so no one can recommend me or give me some advice... Can you?

Check at your recent college's Career Placement Office, they have positions available for students and recent graduates.
