Job Application Ethics? |
I submitted an application to Accenture when I graduated from college. They called me about 4 or 5 weeks after I submitted it. So I turned them down because I had a commitment elsewhere.Okay. So I just quit my job yesterday. And I am itching to submit an application to Accenture again. However, I won't be available until the end of July for an interview. My friends there said that it's much easier if I just walk in and submit my CV rather than online. But I won't be moving until a month after. So... I was wondering. If I submit my CV online and after 4 weeks they haven't called me yet... Can I walk in and submit my CV again? Or is that just too eager for them? I just want to know if it's an acceptable thing to do. I'm not worried about some guy taking anything against me. Don't complicate your life with unnecessary details. Just submit in whatever way feels right for you. I would do both - submit online and submit in person. Don't expect much if you already turned them down before. The HR guy might remember you. And take your recent resignation against you. But since you don't know these guys, it won't matter. Take the risk. Eagerness can be looked at as a good trait....as it generally is. Approach them with proper appointment with the HR Manager.Check out the website and apply online and also meet them and Tell the Truth.First Make up your mind. Good Luck and Tell Truth at all times, now ask is there anything in life that is worth telling a lie |
