I want to live in America. What should I do.?

I'm Japanese student , 17years.
I want to go to university in U.S.A.
But my friend and my parents said me ''That's not a good idea.Because you can't have a good job when you return to Japan."
But, I want to live in America if I graduate the university.
Can't I live in America forever ?

If anybody have good ideas , please tell me...

There is an immigration process. I recommend contacting the United States I.N.S. You'll need to get a student visa to study in the USA and then a green card to stay in while you go for your citizenship (which, as I understand it, can take a while and can be expensive).

Dont be a fool

Of course! The only problem is that you'd have to get a visa...which can be very complex. If you go to University in America that is one visa but staying is a different one. You can keep renewing your visa but the best way to gain citizenship is by marrying an american citizen. lol...but if you want I can find out what my moms friend did...she's from argentina and has lived in the US for about 7 years... just let me know.

Good luck!

You can live forever in America in two ways./ One way is to be an illegal alien subject to being thrown out of the country. The other way is to become an American citizen.
