Job searching - when it says they require a HS Diploma - how do I prove I have one?

I graduated 21 years ago - I don't know where my High School Diploma is - I've moved at least 10 times since then. I just started looking for a job and when I see that they require a HS Diploma, it made me wonder how to handle that...

My High School closed down years ago - they couldn't check with them...boy, I feel old...

I've never actually heard of anyone ask to physically see the diploma when someone went on an interview. If you did graduate from high school, your school will have a record of you graduating. Don't worry about it. When you fill out the application, they ask where you went to high school . If they want, they can check with your school.
Good luck !

Put down the name of the high school. If they want to check, they'll call the school or more likely send them a request in writing.

I've never known of an employer to check on a HS diploma, but have seen people asked to provide transcripts from their college to verify their degree.
