What's the best graduate job board in the UK? |
I graduated this year and after a few months of travelling I have decided to look for a job. I studied Management at Leeds University and graduated with a 2:1. Try graduate-jobs.com - I found them really good when I was looking for a job after leaving university. Good selection of graduate jobs and gentle on the email spam / alerts i.e. not 20 emails day! I found lots of the other ones I signed up to just sent useless rubbish on email. I think you can also publish an online CV but not sure if I did. http://www.graduate-jobs.com Not sure about grad sites as I graduated a few years ago now but monster.co.uk is great for all types of jobs. Sort your cv out including the keywords you think prospective employers / recruiters in your field may be looking for and hopefully your cv will be returned in searches they do. I used monster to get my current job and i was still receiving calls and emails from agencies who's seen my cv on monster months later I am in a similar situation as you, I graduated from John Moores University in Liverpool this year with a degree in Business Information Systems and am looking for work. http://doctorjob.com Is personal favourite, not just for jobs, also has a great community/forum where you can get advice from like minded people. http://www.grb.uk.com/ I think this is a hidden gem. I am also a fan of this, having secured an interview through this site. Other graduate sites I use include: http://www.prospects.ac.uk http://www.gradjobs.co.uk http://www.get.hobsons.co.uk/ http://www.graduate-jobs.com Other popular job sites include: http://www.monster.co.uk/ http://www.jobserve.com http://www.totaljobs.com/ http://www.reed.co.uk/ Hope this helps, Simon |
