How long takes you to find a job after graduate? |
Hi, how long take you people finding a job after graduated from a university? Been out almost a year but still no luck on jobs, still looking for and almost give up. how about your people. BTW, my communication is not that good, English is my second language. I guess that's the major reason prevent me from finding a nice job. In addition, if you are not a science major. Any comments and advices is welcomed. Yes, communication may be an issue. You also will have to take into consideraton what your major was. Think of your job search in terms of supply and demand. There are only so many jobs out there. If there are a whole lot of people with the same degree for a job that is not that common, it will take a whole lot longer than if you are looking for something that has more job openings than people looking. Another thing to consider is looking for something other than what your degree is in. The longer you go without getting a job, the wider you may need to make your search. All that being said, what is your degree, and where are you looking? I'm in the Albuquerque area if you are interested, and would be willing to pass on your name to people who may be able to help. I got a job offer before I graduated. I went through the college recruiting program at the school I attended. I was working while I was going to school, so fortunately I didn't have to look. Some of my friends took almost 2 years. I have another that just had to work regular jobs for 3-4 years before actually finding one in his field of study. |
