Why get tied to a job in such a nasty place? go to fortune 100 or 500 and look for companies and then apply directly through their websites. also go to monster, careerbuilder, hotjobs and craigslist. Put together a resume with a specific job objective like: to obtain a position as a sales trainee where I can use my strong interpersonal skills. They throw away the resumes that say they want a challenging job with personal growth. Go to yahoo yellow pages and find a list of companies in your field. Call up and ask if you can fax over your resume and to who's attention. Make sure resume has a local address. Follow up with a phone call after a week |
