What percent of students that apply to college actually graduate and get a job in their field of study?

never heard of a college of kicking out a hard-studying student who has a way of paying tuition.

Job prospects depend on the field. I'd say things like economics and business are probably a better bet than English or Philosophy
Look to your right, look to your left two of you will be gone by graduation....
