Hi I want to look for a job over seas in America.I am a new graduate what are my opputunities and how? |

Your chances on landing a job in America depend on your expertise and the field in which you are apllying for, futhermore, it also depends on what state you are trying to move to, that can have a huge impact on the amount of work out there for you to apply for. Your best bet is to go through online services like www.Monster.com, or www.hotjobs.com. it will take you through the steps you need to apply, and of course the biggest issue is getting a Visa from the government as well as being able to obtain citizenship in the USA. Before a work permit is made, they assess your current degree to its equivalent in American terms. A 5 year degree course in India will get evaluated to a 3 year degree in US parlance. Over and above that some employer should process you for a H1 B permit. Don't believe people who say they will help you. You stand to loose lots of time & money if you trust the wrong lot of persons since there are lots of scams. For a fresher to be provided work permit, you have to be somebody similar to Einstein or done a project work in rocket / nuclear sciences which has impressed the US counterparts. :) My advice: 1. Learn in US and earn in US 2. Work in local company which has US branches and try to get there. |
