How come government jobs have so much benefits? |
How come government jobs have so much benefits? they have to so people will want them to Make them more appealing One word Gov!!!!! Because the taxpayer has deep pockets and has to pay for them! they dont have to many well my mom doesnt have so many benefits she works for the government at the airport so yea bye I don't know but it sucks for the rest of us: so many benefits and such great pay, for little work (usually). It is totally unfair and not right! The benefits are designed to entice good applicants for the job....they want the best of the best. Because they are so boring, no one would want to do them if they didn't have good benefits. because their so boring, monotonous, sucky and make people hate you, that their trying to compensate. lol They have to be able to attract people to come and work for the government. The pay is not in line with private industry jobs. So, the benefits make up for that. There are some nice benefits but we also make less than our private company counterparts. People complain about public servants/govt. employees, but the fact of the matter is the government work force is very lean and efficient given the size of the overall endeavor. |
