What are some government jobs you can have with a high school diploma?

What are some government jobs you can have with a high school diploma?

I will advice to continue your education. Today you may find a job at the DMV, tomorrow you will lose that job. Someon has a college education will take that job away from you. Many clerical, meter-maids, night watchman/woman, or janitorial jobs are available at most of the government agencies. Is this what you want to do for the rest of your life by having someone bosses you around? You need to be more serious to plan your future. If problem with supporting yourself, U.S. Armied Forces may be a good option. Let the government trains you for some skills you can grow on.
Good luck!

1. County Jobs - check with your state representative if your county doesn't have a listing for jobs.
2. State jobs - many are open presently for entry level - and they have great benefits including paying for college.
3. Federal jobs - check www. OPM.gov

Best of luck/opportunities.

That's all I can think of right now. Slim pickings if you only have a H.S diploma but the jobs are there.

The cool thing is, if you can just land a job, they might even pay for you to get your college degree. I will warn you that it is very unlikely that you will be able to move up and get promoted without a college degree.

USAJOBS is provided at no cost and offers information on 74,040 U.S. government job opportunities worldwide. I believe you can filter the search results by educational level.

good luck!

I work for the government and I am going to be completely honest and direct with you: You need to further your education. A college education is something that can not be taken away from you and is completely affordable. For any long term government job, you need a college degree.
