Don't enterprenuers create the most jobs?

There only two ways for government to create jobs. One is to form up new bureaucracies that require staffing and support.

The other is to keep taxes low and the economy strong thereby generating entrepreneurial incentives. The private sector thrives and expands thereby creating REAL new jobs.

No, it is not Government's job to create jobs in US. However it is up to Government to provide the opportunities and to insure a good environment for entrepreneurs to continue the growth. Otherwise they (entrepreneurs) will find it somewhere else.

No, nor is it the people's responsibility to stand by while politicians on both sides of the aisle ship all of our jobs overseas with tax incentives paid by us the working class Americans!

NAFTA and other trade agreements that opened American borders to products produced using methods below our standards are the worst economic disaster we have faced.In the foreseeable future,it will only get worse.

No it is not the governments job to create, and yes entrepreneurs create jobs. The problems are the regulations and taxes.

The playing field needs to be leveled and more incentives for American jobs to stay in America. This means no caps on profits as suggested by Obama, Hillary and Edwards.

The government should not start regulating wages as proposed by the Democratic candidates, and taxes need to be cut for business expansion that creates more jobs.

It's the "promote the general welfare" clause that makes me think that it's the government's job to PROMOTE the general welfare of it's citizens, namely by providing an environment where business can afford to employ people. It's not the government's job to create jobs. It's the government's job to allow and encourage the free market to incite enterprenuers to create jobs, with tiny little adjustments made here and there as dictated by circumstance.

It's the Democrats in Government who create jobs, and therefore, votes. If you want to see the squandering of your tax money in action, just take a look at a government agency telephone book, at any level. You'll see layer upon layer of totally useless employees, doing as little as they can get away with, being well paid and almost impossible to get rid of once they're in place. Any private business that was run with government efficiency would go bankrupt very quickly.
