Why do lawyers seem to get the jobs in court, government, including lobbyists, and "agents" skimming off 10%+?

Compare government "lobbyists" for special interests to "agents" for athletes, writers or actors.

Are they all about the same?

Why are "lobbyists" less accepted than agents?

Are you afraid of the back-room government lobbyist's influence and power in the capital, for good or evil?!?

Is there ANY "checks and balances" on lobbyists, like there is for elected governement? If not, why not?

Can their power be controlled? How? Are thy beyond the laws of the land? How di you feel about them???

As Madison wrote in Federalist #10 there will always be "factions". The only way to eliminate factioning would be to do away with liberty (he compared this to eliminating oxygen just to put out a fire).

The fortunate thing is that there are so many factions that they counteract each other. Ambition counteracts ambition.

Their power is controlled and we continue to add restrictions on lobbyists.

There are virtually no controls on lobbyists.

The only way they could be controlled was if the people rose up and DEMANDED it.

But you will never get enough sheep to do that. Most Americans do not care and you can't make them.

Law-yers also get "their end" for playing "their part".
Is 10% worth it? Will it help escape wrath to come?
Who does wrath come upon in 1Thessalonians 5:3?

Let "them" have "their end".
Let "us" go on unto perfection.
For they can't be made perfect without us.
