Government job overseas?

We live in the US right now but looking for a job in germany.
Once you get a job in germany, how long does the government usually need to move you over there? We are a family of 4.

What kind of job?
There are US military bases all over germany. They have schools (hire teachers) , airports, hospitals, stores, etc.... you work for the US but live in Germany. You don't need to be military to work there. There are also Embassies......
Additionally large companies like Boeing send people to germany.
As for how long does it take - depends. We lived in Geilenkirchen Germany for four years - it took less than six months from finding out we were moving to arriving.
Try - usajobs.com - they have dod postings
Additionally look up the bases - and call their Family Support - they also have all the positions available - but chances are good those positions won't have moving benefits.
Personally - having been there, done that - only go if you read and write fluently - and then get a local job don't go through the government.
