Can my Military Experience help me obtain a government Job in EOD? |
I went through military EOD training in the Air Force. I was awarded a secret clearance for training. I'm now out of the Air Force, I have obtained B.S. in Computer Science and am interested in pursuing a job in EOD / Bomb Defusal with a government agency - but I am unsure how to proceed, where to start. Yes, you can go to the government web site ?www.omb.gov? Something like that and apply for several different agencies such as the FBI/DEA and others. Or you can go to the contract companies and apply there. They're pulling in good money these days. www.ronco.com for example. Why don't you try EOD Technology's out of Knoxville TN. They have a web site. You gotta be kidding me? You must not of had much rank because they usually hire EOD straight out of the military! Every government and law enforcment agency out there has some kind of EOD unit... Even construction companies..... |
