Post office is the first that comes to mind

Join the military

Go to a local temp. agency they will be able to help you find a job. You didn't list any qualifications you have so it is hard to say. In todays market with no expierence it is rough!! Good luck...I'm in the same boat as you!

~cashier
~receptionist
~delivery person
~waitress
~maybe if theres something you're good at, such as writing or playing an instrument, you can teach others
~babysitter

You didn't mention any skills, so I can't suggest anything.

For government work, you need to take the Civil Service Exam. Go to a government office (pick any) and ask about it - they'll be happy to help.

Or, you can go to a local temp agency, such as manpower. They will have you fill out a questionaire tha'll help you discover what your likes and talents are.

Once you find something you like, considering going back to school part time. Once better educated, you can make more money, and get promoted!

Good Luck

Prepare a resume, and hawk it around. Seek vocational counseling. If you need to become more proficient at typing, sign up for a course at that. You never know who is going to be interested in you until you get out there and make yourself seen.
