What job can I do as a conflict adviser outside government? |
I have experience of analysing causes of national and community conflict and instability. What job can I get outside of UK government? Large Corporations often look for Professional Negotiators or Negotiation Advisers as so mnay out there are awful at the process. Just an Idea Intrenational conflicts are handled by international agencies like UNO,Internatioal Court,Trade Agreement.Arbitration etc and you have no role in it.If you are andvocate you can be in family court ,compromise agent, negotiator etc out side Govt.Community courts,Family courts ,consumer grievence redressal forums etc ,you can look for some job.You can work in Human Rights organisation or esablish free leagal aid posts.Good Luck! In US Gorvenment perhaps, not that they will listen to your advice. Think about it, are there times when companies run into conflicts between employees? Yes! Does management have to negotiate labor contracts with unions? Yes! So there's plenty of opportunity for someone skilled in the art of conflict resolution and labor negotiations. |
