I'm graduating with a degree in Finance. Will my bad credit report affect me finding a job?

yes it will. why do you have bad credit when you are still in college? Would you hire a finance major who cant even manage her own finances? I wouldn't. Common sense is worth more than any degree. time to grow up!!

In some jobs it will affect you. I work for a mortgage company, and they had to make an exception for me because they couldn't hire me with my credit history. If you go in and knock em dead with your interview, they will make an exception to the rule.

yes most definietly. bc finance has such huge responsibilities, they will do an extensive backround check. if u cant pay your debt in time they will not think your resposibile enough for bigger things in finance and as a representative ov their company. try to make minimum monthly payments, you will raise your credit score.

Only a severely bad credit history can have negative implications on your job prospects and only in certain circumstances. It is more relevant to your personal financial situation. You cannot be a director of a company for 7 years after declaring bankruptcy for example, however general employment should still be attainable to people even if their credit is as bad as a bankruptcy. Considering you are graduating, I feel your prospects should be a bright as anyone else. Just get some advice on how to manage your finances and believe me, the relief in stress and the better way you can live through having a poper budget is fantastic! Good luck finding a great job in the finance industry!
