Have you had any experience with Sun-In's Solar Streaks? |
It is for highlighting certain parts of the hair. I am thinking about using it on my upcoming Caribbean vacation, but do not want to return to my finance job looking like an idiot. I just want something suttble to bring some of my natural blonde out of my winter office job browning hair. My personal experience with it, is it didn't work. I've also heard horror stories about how it turned peoples' hair brassy. I would suggest buying it if you want to try it, and just test it on a small chunk of unnoticable hair that way if it doesn't work out right, no one will notice. Hope it works for you though! Be very careful when you use any Sun-In products. If you have brown hair sometimes Sun-In will make your hair orangey and brassy. Also, if you have any color or other chemical in your hair if can be damaging. Finally, if you have Sun-In in your hair and you go to get color done, it can be harder to achieve the color you are looking for. I had to highlight a girls hair that had Sun-In in her hair from this past summer, and as I was foiling the foils started heating up, a lot! So hot, that to the touch it would burn you. It was literally cooking her hair because of the reaction from the two chemicals. I would not suggest using it. me- I am a colorist |
