What companies will hire recent college graduates in the field of finance? |
When i'm doing these online job search its really tough because most of these jobs require experience in their field. Although i may not have the experience i was hoping if you guys knew of any companies that provided the training before they really let you work for them? I'm interested in working for a financial institution i don't know any places but my advice is to still apply you might get a interview and you wow them then. I just graduated last may and most places wanted experince but i just applied i got many thanks but no thanks but i got in one place I had the same problem, and ended up switching in to accounting. Finance is an unemployable field which only has markets in a few areas in the country. That is what they dont tell you when you sign up for the program. I suggest you move to New York City, Charlotte, NC or Columbus, OH. If not, you better plan on becoming a financial advisor or switching to accounting. That really depends on what type of job your looking for in finance. Almost all of the financial firms recruit on campus for new talent that you can take advantage of. If you've already graduated and no experience in finance already, you may want to consider a entry level position, similar to a customer service position. This will at least get your foot in the door, and give you the opportunity to shine (assuming your a star) and move into a better position down the road. Unless you have a degree from an ivy league school, just don't expect to get a big paying job on Wall St. if you have no experience. |
