Is the military considered federal government?

For a job application should someone fill out the federal government if they were in the military? Another section has for military but not sure if I should put it twice.

If your job application lists military service, fill the out. If they later request employment history, you would list your military service.

I hope this helps.Yes they work for the Federal Government
My husband went to a course about this. Contact VA about it, but there is a form if you were in military and want to get into federal gov.

Good luck.
yes...we get preferred treatment when applying for federal jobs.
Yes the Military is one of the cental parts of the Federal Government.
Leave the fed gov blank open and put in the appropriate info in military. Do not put the info twice.
