Who works for the Federal Reserve? Any advice on getting a job with them?

Each branch does it's own hiring, as does the Board of Governors.

Competition is incredibly keen. I would recommend apply at every branch you are interested. But don't mass apply; instead apply at them one at a time. See what you do right and see what you do wrong. Ask what they are looking for. Improve with each application. Using this strategy, I would recommend NOT interviewing with your first choice first. Get a couple of practice interviews in before you go for #1.

And do your research. The Federal Reserve is it's own world and there is a lot of misinformation out there. Go to http://www.federalreserveeducation.org/... . If you understand everything there, you will be a very impressive candidate.
