I worked with the govt as a GS-7 in MD, ( but only for 5months) I had to move to Atlanta and resign! Im trying to get back in with my reinstatement eligibility, but I'm finding that all the jobs are being taken by veterans. I cant even get interview due to minimally qualifed veterans having first dib. Is it impossible to get back- or do I have to know someone. I'm on USAjobs everyday- and I always get the same response even for jobs which I'm over-qualified. Those applications are very detailed- am I giving aimless effort. Does anyone know any other avenues I can take, this is so frustrating?
