Federal Job rating; what happens next? |
For those that are familiar with the process of applying for federal/govt jobs. What should I be expecting next once I have received a rating score for a job I applied to? Will I then be called for an interview or is the notice just a notice to let me know my score. By the way, I scored 89, i wonder if that will be good enough to be considered for a position? You need to apply for specific jobs. They are unlikely to come to you. You may have scored 89 but a veteran may have scored 80 and gets 10 extra points for a disability. I am not trying to devalue your score because it is decent, but if you are deem qualified they will send you a letter, stating you are tentatively qualified for the next step in the hiring process. |
