Well, Tommy Thompson is one of the worst when it comes to birth control rights. While in Wisconsin, he made it so that teenagers had less access to the pill - and then created the "Welfare to Work" idea - which made it so that teen moms couldn't get welfare anymore. Wow, what a guy, huh? How does he sleep at night?

OMG! Who is this freak?? They live in TX, don't they? They live in the church off i-45 with all of the crosses representing "babies killed by abortion"!!!

Ugh - do some of these men hate women having control of their lives and their bodies so much that they'll do anything to control it themselves?

That sounds like something that Eric Keroack, disgraced anti-contraception ex-director of the Office of Population Affairs, would say.

Before you judge her too negatively. Make a point of checking out how many assinine questions are here on Yahoo Answers asking "could I be pregnant" or similar questions by ignorant teenagers that though contraception methods actually have a good track record. Abstinance is the only birth control method that works 100% of the time, period.

The answer is Dr. Susan Orr, who has advocated for abstinence over making contraceptives more available, was named by President Bush to head his government's family planning program.
Orr is currently on the board of directors of Teen Choice, a non-profit groups advocating for abstinence in lieu of contraception.
