Obama scares me, now he says he wants a govt. that creates quality jobs for Americans. I don't want a govt

who's job it is to create quality jobs. Where in the constitution is that responsibility of the federal govt? I think the last time I heard that it was in the USSR's 5 year plans. Are both obama and hillary basically communists? Or at least socialists? Don't they know the U.S. was setup to be a democratic republic?

Hillary Clinton is an avowed Marxist. Read the book "Hell to Pay" by Barbara Olson, who was tragically killed on 9-11 in the plane crash into the pentagon. In the 60's she was a "Goldwater girl" until she attended college & came under the tutelage of professor Saul Alinski, another Marxist. She believes that children should be property of 'the state'. The government has always created good jobs. When this president leaves and the New one comes in so does New jobs all kinds. Was it communist for them to fire the eight attorneys and put new ones in. Lighten up. He just meant he favored government policies that encourage job creation, as opposed to say, Bush's policies that encouraged private employers to lay off tens of thousands. Or are you against work in principle?

See, we tried having a government that completely ignores the people's needs. Now the middle class is in the shitter and unemployment has skyrocketed. I agree, it's soooooo much better to have a president that caters the rich, and leaves the poor and underprivelaged to fight for scraps.

The constitution doesn't give the responsibility of creating quality jobs to the federal govt. I wonder what in the world he means by quality jobs. That is an outrageous promise and one he could not fulfill. To me the scary thing is that there are people who will actually believe this monster lie.

Yes a government that tries to help people by providing them jobs....yes that would be horrible. It might help the poor and reduce unemployment and we can't have that. NOTICE THE SARCASM! A presidents job is to act in the best intrest of the country and it's people. If you do no believe that involves ensuring that people of quality jobs then I'm sorry.
Only the government has the power to step in and put a stop to big business outsourcing. Only the government has the power to build up the military creating more jobs both in the military and within the civilian community around military bases.
That's just two of things that the president and the government have the sole power to change.

A quality job is one like maybe making cars,one in the technology sector, or producing steel. High paying jobs that are disappearing in growing numbers, as is the American middle class. A service economy one in which people clean, wash cars, and make hamburgers is non sustainable for a nation not if we want to stay the #1 economy in the world. Wake up, someone with an original idea one that helps the nation is needed or one day maybe China, Japan and all the other countries where we get everything made will cash in their markers and then you will see how artificial the current unemployment numbers are, which by the way does not take in to account people being underemployed, not looking for work anymore, or the fact that living wages are decreasing.
So stay scared and stupid while the world passes us by.
