Would you consider dating a federal inmate ? i am clean cut and i have a job in the metal shop and i am ......

training to become a boss when i get out of this place. no need to worry about my crimes.

I think that would depend on you personally. I personally wouldn't judge an entire person on one mistake they made just as I wouldn't date a person because of one reason. Attraction comes with many layers and you have to accept them all - the good and the bad.

However, your one mistake was obviously a pretty big one, so don't be too surprised if some women won't want to see you in a romantic way. Especially depending on your crime ...

Forgive and forget though, I guess. If it's a reoccurring trend then you may have less of chance with the ladies. However - there are lots of girls out there with open minds and open hearts and I'm sure the right girl is waiting for you. Good luck finding her!!

depends on what your crime was
most crimes are psycological things that may (or may not) happen again
what you did and why you did it would definitely be a factor...

...um i guess...sure...it just depends on who they r...but im not gay (no offense to any of u all...i respect and kno a few gays) anyway...if u think u gotta good future...then yes go ahead

No You're in prison you can't give me any companionship.

Most everyone deserves a second chance...as long as you weren't a sexual deviant, pedophile, assassin, or Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy variety...and you learned your lesson/served your time with no violations, I see no reason why you couldn't find dates. There are good people out there (in a moment of stupor) that got involved in drugs, theft, embezzlement, involuntary manslaughter, and the list goes on and on...usually at an early age when they thought they were invincible...but served their time and are upstanding citizens now. I have mixed emotions on whether I would date one..it would truly be how the guy presented himself to me and exactly what he had done. But I've had friends of friends that did and honestly, I found them to be better adjusted than a lot of arrogant guys that were 'squeaky clean'. It's definitely the 'school of hard knocks' and no one can judge you until they've 'walked a mile in your shoes.' I don't believe you deserve any special privileges, but I don't think you should be shunned by all either. I wish you well!
