Which health insurance do you recommend?

I'm a 20 year old female with a federal job. I go to the doctor for womanly visits about twice a year, wear contacts, dentist check up, and I'm on birth control pills. Which health plan should I choose since I rarely go to the doctors?

Well, the CHEAPEST thing for you is probably going to be through your work. If you want a private policy, a nice major medical policy with high deductible is probably going to be most cost effective in the long run.

Dental isn't covered under health insurance - you need dental insurance - and private plans cost more than two visits to the dentist each year. A LOT more.

Medicare is the best for health insurance

anthem well depending on what state your in..im in nevada anthem is a reallyl good heath insurance..but theres many based on how many times you go to the doctors...it depends on the state

You should sit down with either your benefits administrator or an independent insurance agent and discuss what your options are - like what plans are available to you. IMO - you'd need a plan with decent vision and prescription benefits, acceptable dental plan, and a medical plan that covers preventative care. (There are some that don't cover well visits.)
It's all about getting what you need for the least amount out of pocket - whether you have a cheaper premium but a higher deductible or a somewhat higher premium but next to nothing out of pocket otherwise (i.e. dirt-cheap copay and nothing else) nobody can really answer that question but you.
Good luck!!

A federal job usually comes with a benefit package. I will assume that is not available to you. Blue Cross has a Select Choice plan that is inexpensive and provides for preventative care and female check ups. Without knowing all of your health / geographic info., I ran a quote and came up with around $90 per month. I hope this is helpfull.
