Under federal labour-no law in place protecting employee?


long distance highway driver operating in canada-usa.refused a trip to to the usa and was told by the president of the company that if i didnot help them out and do the trip,well he told me that i must have quit.in other words if i dont take the trip i dont have a job.go to uic the employer just puts quit on your seperation-disqualificatiion 10-12 weeks.i was forced into the trip or my job was dangled in front of me.

I don't understand.

You want to sue the company because you weren't willing to do the work they offered you?

If you are the employee you must do all you can to keep your job.If you are the employer you can set your own terms and conditions.
