I am doing chemical engineering,how are the jobs and at what salaries?

shall i have to go for M.tech or placements.

Yes you can get employment in Indian Oil and other petrleum companies.
You can get good jobs in US.
Besides you have the opportunity to do business in various chemicals in industrial areas where chemicals are getting used.
You can also manfacture chemicals and market them

Minimum Wage at best.
It's hard to say.
But frankly speaking,the salary will not be very desirable...
Foolish question now...you should know your own answers if you are prepared to spend your life in this field. If you are chasing money, you will be disappointed because there will always beothers that love that field and your star won't shine very bright amongst them.
