How can I find a good engineering job abroad?

I just graduated with a with a bach in civil engineering. I like it but I am not ready to settle down here(in the u.s.a.); i want to travel, see the world. I guess I wouldn't mind teaching english or something but I don't really want to give up what i majored in in college. I am afraid if I bounce around from job to job noone will hire me in the future when I am ready to settle down.

You want to have a job connected with the engineering and at the same time, want to travel around both I think will be satisfied if an additional qualification of architecture is done and some experience is gained.
If you are willing to work in third world countries in the civil engineering area, then companies dealing with construction of dams, roads etc., in the thirld world area should be chosen as your next employer.
VR
Try Chemical or Biomedical Engineering.
Navy or Airforce. Best bases and seldom in harms way now a days.
Work for Grundfos Group , their company is one of the biggest group in the world and available in more than 60 countries. This is their website: http://www.grundfos.com

Good luck!
