How fun is the Chemical Engineering Field? Any really fun jobs you can go into with that kind of degree? Chemical Engineering can be fun because of the many satisfying fields you could get into. Some find research, safety, environmental studies, pilot projects (trial of processes) fun because of concrete results. Chemical Engineers are found in mining, oil production and refining, food production, environmental studies, both in keeping processes safe and in finding ways of nullifying the effects of products such as waste that are harmful to the environment.
